Chitwan National Park which covered some 932 sq km is one of the best managed national park of Nepal. Chitwan national park was established in 1973 as the first national park of the country and since 1984, it is the world natural heritage site. Chitwan National Park is located in the southern plain of Nepal at an altitude from 100 meter to 815 meters above sea level. Chitwan has tropical weather with high humidity round the year. National park is covered by Himalayan subtropical broad leaf forest along with other trees such as chir-pine, rosewood, axle-wood, Elephant apple etc.
Chitwan National park has the varied level of vegetation with rich fauna. It is one of the best habitat of tiger Royal Bengal Tiger, other animals are leopards, sloth bears, rhinoceros, elephant, Gaur and other many. Large numbers of birds, butterfly, moth, insects make this park the most beautiful to explore and enjoy.

Day 1

Drive Chitwan National Park

Early morning drive to Chitwan national park. Chitwan is about 170 km south-east of Kathmandu and takes about 5 hours to drive. The drive is beautiful along the River Trishuli, which renamed after Mugling section when Marshyangdi joins Trishuli. It is then Narayani river. All these rivers are popular rafting rivers in Nepal.


Arrive Chitwan, meet with Hotel/Resort representative and transfer to the Hotel/Resort. You will be then briefed by the resort manager about your tour program. Overnight stay in the Hotel /Resort.

Day 2

Whole Day in the National Park

According to the program designed for you by the Hotel /Resort manager, you now start to follow the strict program schedule. Elephant back ride to enjoy the wildlife in the jungle, canoe ride, visit of elephant breeding centre, walk around the Tharu village are some of the major programs. Tharu cultural stick dance is also attractive in the evening. You will be served breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant of the Resort.

Day 3

Drive Back to Kathmandu

After breakfast in the morning, enjoy 1 or 2 programs left from the last day and transfer to the bus station or airport for your drive/fly back to Kathmandu or other destination.
